Most people start looking for a job at the end of their degrees. Wrong. Start looking for a job in your first year of study. Work out the companies you admire and who the people are in those businesses who have the power to hire you and then get in contact with them. Yes, even as a first year student. Build relationships with industry over six years and you'll blitz your competition.
